Catching Up

Just a few random pictures and thoughts of things that are going on...

Samantha had a fun Homecoming Date - 12 couples got together and spent the day at Lagoon and then came back for their dance. I thought Samantha and Brandon looked FABULOUS!

Homecoming week is always crazy busy but this year being the Assistant Cheer Coach brought on a whole new realm to the busy... There is SO MUCH that goes on behind the scenes to make everything come together. The cheerleaders practiced, practiced, practiced in the hopes of being able to perform their competition routine and then we ended up with some injuries, so we had to change things up a little but they looked AMAZING! As Head Cheerleader, Samantha was feeling a little overwhelmed but she does such a wonderful job and always remembers even the little details. We are proud of her!

The last couple of weeks that John was in Oregon he saw lots of bears. He was always pretty excited but we were REALLY excited that he finally got the Electronic Tech job and that he has been able to be so much closer to home and home every weekend. It has been really nice!

Shayla continues to submit her resume when she sees a job opportunity but is working lots of hours at Arby's. Her boss told me the other day that everyone loves working with Shayla and how she prays that she will never find a different job! She raved about how she appreciates her smile, her attitude and that she is such a hard worker. She has also been such a great help to me - it always makes me smile when I get up to fold the clothes in the dryer to find that she has already folded them or when the lawn needs to be mowed after work but she managed to get it done before I got home. Thanks Shay!

Savanna keeps me on my toes just trying to keep track of where she is, who she is with and what she is doing (What did we ever do before cell phones?) but she ALWAYS has a smile on her face and is doing great in school.
