My Dad is always teasing me that we "celebrate" everything! There's a lot of truth in the teasing because I like to celebrate. It seems like sometimes we get so caught up in the day to day living and we need things to get us outside of the normal every day stuff. We're even pretty good at celebrating birthdays for a whole month - not in big ways but in little things we do....Anyway, this diploma is not just a little celebration - it's a VERY BIG, VERY MUCH EARNED and VERY WELL DESERVED kind of CELEBRATION!!!
I say - "Who cares that it's taken almost 25 years to get this?" You got it, you earned it and now you don't have to just say "some college." You have an Associate of Applied Science!!!
As for the celebration.... That's just for me and him.... We're taking a trip - we just don't know where we want to go yet.....
WAY TO GO JOHN! It's been very long and very rough at times but you made it - Are you ready to go for your Bachelor's now?!?!?
